Sunrise Assisted Living Facility

Dynamic National was contracted by Yorkshire Federal Lindale, TX, to replace the existing roof system at Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Northville Township, Michigan. The project required the removal of all existing lightning protection and vacuum river rock ballast from the existing EPDM roof system, as well as the removal of the existing roof down to the concrete deck.
We installed a new R-30 fully tapered ISO in low-rise foam adhesive and fully adhered Johns Manville PVC roof system over Dens Deck primed, totaling approximately 11,000 square feet. In addition, we removed the existing siding back to the existing metal studs and installed new 3/4″ fire-rated plywood with fully adhered wall flashings terminated 4′ on center to the top of the 14′ walls, totaling approximately 12,000 square feet of wall flashing.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with Armko Industries, the roof consultant, to ensure that the new system was installed correctly and met all necessary requirements. The new roof system also came with a 20-year NDL warranty from Johns Manville, providing peace of mind to the facility owners.
Despite the challenges of working on an operational facility, we were able to limit the impact of noise and disruption on the residents, keeping their well-being at the forefront of our work. At Sunrise of Northville, they take a holistic approach to senior care, and we were proud to help support their mission by providing a high-quality, long-lasting roofing solution.
